3 speed works for me
I am returning to bicycling after 30 years hiatus. I rode a lot as a kid and even commuted by bike until I was about 30. I am now returning to cycling at 60. When I was young, in California where I ‘ve lived most of my life, I rode many different bikes. I remember my Puch Bergmeister with fondness. I now live in Tennessee and snow bird to Arizona. I bought a used Huffy 3 speed All Pro from a second hand sports store. I love it! I am into casual riding, commute riding and such. No frills or fancy stuff. Definitely not racing, BMX or other niche stuff. I don’t like it when anyone looks down on my “big box clunker”. Bikes are for enjoyment and getting around, not snobbery.
Here’s a picture of my bike,

Welcome to the forum. When I was young I had a 3-speed (made in England, I think). Loved that bike. Wished I still had it. Enjoy the ride and the forum.
