Hello From Central Massachusetts

Hi everyone, I just started road biking a few months ago. I really enjoy it and am just finishing up a 9 week bike maintenance class. So far on my own bikes I have had to repair a broken chain, change a tube, and adjust the shifting. I am planning to add more/lower gears to a 10 speed bike I have.

I have been doing 15-20 mile hilly rides and I ride up Wachusett Mt a lot. Anyone else in the area?

I was running for a couple years first so that helped.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

Welcome. Yep, running does help with cycling climbing. I rarely run now and my climbing standing has suffered.
