Greetings! I found this forum while searching for help on various issues with restoring my 1988 Centurion DS Ironman Master (Purple Haze). I got the bike new when I was on the cycling team at UCSD. Rode it for the season and then off and on while I was in law school. Then life got in the way. It has mostly hung in my garage since then and the Arizona heat and time have been a bit unkind.
I don't seem to have any photos of it saved on my computer, and right now it's completely disassembled.

1. Is it OK to start a restoration thread on my bike?
2. If so, where in the forum should it belong? Classic and Vintage or Mechanics?

I suggest that you start the thread in C&V.
