Yo
I'm finally registering after lurking here for a few months now. I'm 25, living in Utah. I feel lame compared to everyone else here because my bike is this lame-o schwinn something or other that I picked up at Sears for under $100 so I could make my 12 mile round trip commute to work everyday. Gas was up to $2.30 per gallon so I finally said to hell with driving every day (even if it is only 12 miles). Turns out, cycling is addicting like crack cocaine. Now, in addition to commuting- my boyfriend and I ride to any destination possible and sometimes days go by where my car isn't even thought of. In the last 7 days I drove my car once to work (and nowhere else) only because I had an errand to run during the day that was about 20 miles away, and my lunch hour just isn't long enough
.
Anyway, here I am

Well, the biggest difference between cycling and crack cocaine is that crack seems to make you want to STEAL bikes, not RIDE them.
Welcome, Eve. Spend enough time here and you'll wish you could forget more than most people know about bikes. Seriously though, it's a nice online community and resource with a lot of good people. Again, welcome.
