Hello from New England
Hello, living in RI and bought my first bike in about 12yrs. I thought for sure I woupd be having a rough time but not at all. I'm finding going for a ride to be more enjoyable than ever and looking to live healthier. All this started when I went to buy a bicycle for my daughter. So for myself I'm looking to connect with others. Would be nice to hear from others in the North East of the United States.
Have a great day everyone.

Lots of great bike paths in RI. Be sure to get out and ride the Blackstone River Path, Washington Secondary Path, and my favorite, the East Bay Bike Path.

Just watch out for catching the (highly predictable) wind wrong on the East Bay... I've been really bad about it lately and wind up doing the ride both ways INTO the wind (yesterday was particularly bad!)

If you ever need a friend or a few to get out with, drop me a line! I was up in your neck of the woods last weekend (based on your comment on my post)- Grabbed some coffee in Manville with a bike friend! What sort of bike did you get?

What days do you tend to go on your ride?

I always start my rides from home- I try to avoid driving to ride my bike. I quit my job earlier this year so I've been riding lots of weird days/times but I should be starting a new one soon (I've got a couple of offers and have to decide...) so I'll be limiting the long rambly ones to the weekend!
