Hey from Nashville
I’ve been coming to bike forums for years, just never thought to make an account. Really digging the retro roadies forum, just finished a build and am definitely inspired by all the awesome threads.

I’m in West Nashville - I haven’t gone on any rides here yet, I’m from Murfreesboro and am used to more rural riding. It’s also been at least 3 years since I rode. Just finished up a retro road build and I have been playing around on a BMX. I like Ride615 and Halcyon.
Used to mountain bike at Lock 4 and in Columbia, but haven’t been in years and don’t have a bike anymore. I’m just getting back into it. You have any good tips for Nashville rides?

I prefer Moab Bikes. Great bunch of guys that manage and work there. There's a new one over off of Woodland St. (11th Ave, I believe) that used to be Eastside Cycles.
Can't tell ya very much about mountain biking. I mostly ride the roads and greenways around town. Lots of good ones for long rides. Stones River greenway starting at Percy Priest Dam connects to Shelby Bottoms greenway, which if you take Davidson St. to downtown Nashville, you can connect to the Cumberland River greenway and ride all the way out to Bordeaux. There's also a nice greenway in Brentwood that runs through Crockett Park. The Harpeth greenway is located out by Edwin Warner park. I ride there and at Percy Warner park as well.

Moab is a very good shop! Didn’t realize they had a place in Nashville. When I was in Murfreesboro they were less than a mile from my house - they have helped with a lot of builds/issues I couldn’t resolve myself.
I like Shelby Bottoms and used to ride the greenway when we moved to Nashville almost ten years ago (before moving back to Murfreesboro, then back to Nashville). I think I’ve been to Edwin Warner park before. It’s been so long I can’t remember, but I’m looking forward to getting back into road here. Oh! I do love the air park.

Delbiker says hello and welcome. BF inspired me to re-build a bike I have owned since 1992. It has a lot of the original components but I replaced the wheels with 9 speed Vuelta SLR with a 9 speed cassette 14/25. I am using the original DT shifters in friction mode. Also has the original crank but with new 50/39, 130 BCD rings. I also stripped the frame all the way to bare metal, sanded it smooth and had it powder coated in a two stage powder called Illusion Rootbeer. I did this in the spring of this year and I have been putting quite a few miles on it.
