Hi everyone,
I'm Phil and I currently have a thing for steel bikes!
I started working when I was at school as a cycle mechanic and have been riding and fettling bikes ever since!
I have recently Restored a 1968 Falcon San Remo and built a 1980s Thompson from a tired looking frame & forks (pictures to follow)
Now I have bought an Eddy Merckx Corsa frame to build for my 50th birthday next year, I'll be looking for info about it and maybe advice for what components to use - I'm sure that will cause some discussion!

Hello Phil,
If you are into steel bikes then you are in the right place, from the looks of it you are on your way to acquiring quite a fine collection of bicycles. The Merckx is a great 50th birthday present!
