Hello From Georgia
I am in my early 50's, and I haven't ridden a bike in almost 30 years! My daughter is a senior in high school, and with school being out due to corona she has started riding and fallen in love with it. She wanted me to ride with her. I am a big guy. I am 6'2" and about 300 pounds so the prospect of riding really didn't appeal to me, but I decided to get one so I could ride with her. Yesterday I picked up a Sedona DX Giant. I must say that I am enjoying it. I put 20 miles on it the first 2 days.
My butt is sore, but so far so good!

Welcome!
I'm somewhere down the road from ya'll and started riding in 2014... weighed 255lbs. Today, under 175.
When I started, couldn't pedal up moderate hills... no problem now. All to say, wherever you are, it only gets better!

I am looking forward to the weight loss. I know it will be easier to ride after I lose some.
