Greetings from Indonesia
Hi all, this is Peter from Indonesia!
Earlier this year I restored my 10-yr old Dahon Espresso (just before the pandemic) and have been riding the bike around the town - for exercising and also for grocery shopping.
It's crazy to see the pandemic bike boom here - suddenly many people pick up cycling and rushing the bike shops to get their bikes - but I do hope the trend sustains.
I'm sure we could see more cycling-related infrastructure here in Jakarta if people continue the cycling habit after this pandemic,
Anyway, I hope to know more of the people here!
Cheers,

Thanks all! I have browsed around the forum for some times but finally decided to join aboard so I can participate in the discussions.
I also note that there have been many changes over the 10-year gap, like my bike is still using freewheels while nowadays the industry seems to have moved to freehubs. Need to familiarize with this and looking on option in case I need to change any parts of my bike.

Welcome!
And, yes, the bike boom is crazy. But I’m into it!
Really liking the increased numbers of fellow cyclists out there.
