My kids are into bikes.

New here.

I used to ride bikes a ton, all over the place when I was a kid.

now my 2 kids are into bikes.

Joined because bikes are more complicated seeming than when I was a kid.

Welcome,

I rarely stop into this section any more, but I was intrigued by your thread title. I have to get out of the way now that I don't have kids, but I'm in my early-30s and am very internet/forum savvy. I think that if you are interested in helping your kids with bicycle-related affairs (as well as your presumed funding of their endeavors) then you need to find out what brands your local bike shops provide, do research about the bikes offered at the shops at price points that are attractive to you (i.e. what components they have, frame materials, etc) and then ask questions if you hit dead ends about choices that are to be made. The more specific you are around here with your inquiries the more useful answers you will get. Cheers!
