I’ve been a bike person since I was a kid and turned my 62 Schwinn Typhoon into a “Sting-Ray” like many of us did by adding banana seat and butterfly handlebars I got at the local Schwinn story (thanks to my dad). Rode that bike for years, even turned it into a bmx bike with a rear composite wheel. I still have the bars, grips and wheel set from that bike and a frame I bought later. Getting it restored and hope to see get there 62 back together. Also have a beautiful one owner 24” Varsity, a nice early 60s coppertone Varsity with downtube shifters, a 72 Vista Torino I need to restore, a one owner Continental and a number of other bikes.
