I joined over fifteen years ago, but only posted once. Browsed this excellent group yesterday and decided to return. I think I spent time, back then, on a competing online forum and settled in there. But they went politics-crazy and turned me off completely. Moreover, they moderated it poorly. Embarked on a search for a technical solution there and it is now a ghost town. They ruined it! Found all my answers here at bikeforums dot net! Keep up the great work!

Welcome back. I just "re-joined" myself but I was gone due to personal reasons. I understand where you're coming from with other forums. I've seen that happen too many times and it really ruins the experience for everyone.

The same political fools and mods still run the show there. Easily only 2% of the number of posts here. And not even interesting stuff, because, well, it's only those same goofed dudes. Ten years ago, I warned them they were wrecking their site, but they ignored me. They were vibrant at one time, like Bikeforums, but botched it. I enjoy the banter and interactions here! Good people!
