Aloha, Kenneth from Hawaii
I decided to start biking again as I've been laid up from running for 3 months (Achilles tendonitis) and don't see myself running in the near future. In the past I rode from 1991 until I moved to Hawaii in 2007. My previous ride was 1997 Bianchi Veloce which I loved very much and...yes, I have just purchased another Bianchi Veloce off of eBay though this one is newer with a carbon fork (will be heading to the Vintage-Classic thread as soon as my bike is delivered to find out when or approximately when it was manufactured). I was shocked when entering my local bike shop and not finding a road bike under $1100 but TBH, I haven't kept track of bike prices for 20 or so years. I have a Zizzo Via folding bike, don't know if that counts

Welcome from the 9th Island, Las Vegas NV. and welcome back to cycling. I did some great riding on Kauai and have lots of Ohana on Oahu.
I too stopped riding in 2007 when I moved to Henderson NV from SoCal I am getting back into riding with a vintage Raleigh.
My previous rides were MTB's.

Hello, I have an auntie who lives in Las Vegas. My dad’s side of family moved away from Kauai and Oahu to the mainland…all of them! I almost bought a Raleigh (not a vintage but a 2007) a few months ago but someone beat me too it😔
