I have three Univega's, they all three have smaller than today's average size seat post. The 1989 Via Carisma and the 1994 Alpina 5.3 both have 26.0 mm post. The 1984 Alpina Sport has a post that is 26.8. I would like to add a good suspension post to the 84 Alpina Pro, but not finding many offerings for either size.

You should post this to the Classic & Vintage forum; I am pretty certain you'll get some replies there. Plus, there is a for sale thread that is very active, you might find what you are looking for on there.

I recently bought a Univega Alpina Pro and need a seatpost for it. I was wondering if someone out there knows. From my caliper, it looks like a 26.2 or something around there. Any insight is appreciated !
