Just picked up a 1985 Schwinn Super Sport that I am looking to learn about, work on, and find cool age(ish) correct parts for. Google has led me here.

I am a road rider that enjoys commuting and doing upto 200K rides and since I got into riding, just really enjoy the older bikes.

But am really into learning more about working on bikes and getting everything working together. So I’ll start perusing the forum for information and advice.

Thanks

Good on you for having a respect for the older steel frames. And there are so many of them out there that are still very ridable too. The only thing better than a steel frame is a lugged steel frame!

Cheers and enjoy your new-to-you Schwinn!
