Hello from Edmonton

Howdy all. Thanks for having me. I mostly ride to work and back a couple of days a week. 35km round trip. Currently ride an e-bike to make the trip mostly sweat-free, but am finding myself drawn to more bikes tho not sure exactly why or what for lol. Thx!

Welcome.

More bikes .....
Why? By golly, it's fun to ride and compare.
What for? No reason - habituation has no rationality. Most avoid outright addiction - but not all.

But there is more to it than speed and conditioning. Art and grace are possible.

Welcome, from SE Wisconsin!

I bike commute too. I too prefer an eBike for the sweat-free experience in the warmer months. Or, I skip the bike commute altogether in the warmer months and take the scooter. I get enough miles on club rides so that my paltry 4 mi/day commute doesn't accomplish much.

I lift weights with a buddy 3x a week and that’s the most of it lately. My commute rides aren’t super hard cardio so maybe that’s where the second bike would fit in. Plus riding is just so much fun.
