Getting back into cycling and building
Greetings everyone,
within the past few years I have gotten back into cycling. Before going into the military I rode my bicycle everywhere. I actually did not get my DL until my first year in the Marines. I would say that’s where my cycling kind of stopped.
Fast forward to the early 90’s and I finally bought a Giant road bike and started riding again for fitness and for the enjoyment of cycling. This slowed down in the early 2000’s with family, GWT and finally retiring.
As mentioned earlier the bug bit me again in a big way where now I like to restore older steel bikes, build wheels and even BMX riding. I have a ton of frames and bike parts and plenty of projects. The only thing holding me back ack now is getting asthma. It sucks, it’s very on and off right now and it is really getting in the way of my riding goals.
Enough said. Thank you for the opportunity to be on this site.
