Hello for the Southwest Desert!
I'm a newbie and a middle-aged lady who has discovered her love for bikes again.
I'm here to scroll, chat and learn new things about bikes, bike touring and bikepacking.
I am so new to the hobby again that I am exclusively using Ozark Trail Bikes and gear and modifying Ozark Trail gear to fit my biking needs.

Welcome aboard, oztryder! There are forums for each of your interests and I am sure you will learn a lot here. Speaking of Ozark Trail bikes, there is an interesting thread on the Cyclocross - Gravel forum. A lot of the posts show and outline improvements that people have made to their Ozark Trail gravel bike. Have fun and stay safe out there!

Welcome! Enjoy the weather until it gets hot, and then just ride early or late until it gets nice again.
If you're in the Phoenix area, there are some rather nice previously-loved bikes at the Rusty Spoke and Bike Saviours that won't drive you up a wal-mart.
