Italian living in Brasil
Let me introduce myself: my name is Matteo, I’m 51 years old, I’m Italian from Ravenna in Emilia-Romagna, and I’ve been living in Brazil for two years after spending four years in Colombia.
What kind of bike do I have?
A pearl-colored Colnago Master Più, but it’s still in Italy.
I rode that bike up all the toughest climbs in the Giro, obviously as an amateur.
I recently bought a Tommasini Ultrafire that I still need to finish building.
I had initially planned to use the Campagnolo Record Cult groupset, but then I opted for the more suitable Dura-Ace 7800.
If anyone wants to talk about Alpine climbs, steel bikes from the ’90s and 2000s, or South America, you’ve come to the right place.

Welcome Matteo.
If you want to share pics and stories and questions about bikes - and riding in places Great and Small - you've come to the right place!

A lot closer to me than Italy or S America. Late 1970s Batavus with Campy 9 triple.
