So.. im new
As i was walking home from the gym today, i saw a deal i couldnt pass up..
a mongoose bike for 20$
Quickly i bought it, and finished the rest of my trip home on the bike..
The brakes sucked, the chain fell off once.. but i was happy...
So.. I brought the puppy home, and immediately ripped her apart...
gone are all the stickers.. new brake pads, greased every bearing i could get ahold of..
repainting it black with some polished metal (handlebars and back, will post pics soon)
actually.. pics are up.. there the l33t cellphone pics.. but better than a 100 words
thats the frame..
all the brake hardware/pegs/handlebars
also.. is there any way i can find out more info on the bike by checking its serial number?.. (also.. is it safe to post it here?...

I'ts safe to post it here, I doubt you can find out much from a Mongoose serial number other than it's year.
also, what model was it? I used to have a Mongoose Villian and it took a helluva beating.
