hola amigos,
new to the forums and totally pumped! i first came to the forums when it came up in a search and i decided to join/post. i can't believe how incredibly helpful everyone is. i can see how the forums could easily become a (dangerous) addiction!

i used to ride on a lil mixte i got at goodwill and tuned up (no longer in my life) and over the summer i became increasingly interested in bicycling. everything is just...better on a bike! after several unsuccessful searches for a complete road bike my size (i'm ~5'1) and my price range (note, i'm a broke college student) i lucked out on an old pink and white dave scott ironman expert frame off craigslist, got some new/old parts and finished building it up about 3 weeks ago. i've been riding it just about every day since! the weather is also starting to warm up and coasting down big hills (our campus is set on one) that overlook the pacific ocean is just...breathtaking.
