Newby From Boise

Hi,

I'm a newby here, but definately no where new to mountainbiking.
I've raced DH for many years in the Idaho Wild Rockies Series, the Mt. Hood Ski-Bowl DH series, and some Nationals and AMBC Nationals.
It's been a couple years since I've raced, but I do still log in MANY miles a week.

Currently riding a 7" Special-Ed with 7" Risse Trixxxy's, Sun Double Wides, and a list way too long to want to list now of aftermarket goodies. I even chopped the frame to make it accept a longer body and throw rear shock and the Risse long travel Swing Link. Nothing is stock or too sacred to modify.

I do own a small shop here in Boise (Gravity Worx Racing) where we sell both High End Bike parts, and my own design snowmobile parts.
We just started with the bike parts this season and so far, It's looking like a really good business desision.

Enough about me for now.
What / where do you ride?

Darin

From: Take a deep breath, and ask--What would Sheldon do?

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Hello Gravity Worx, you must know at least a few of our members, then. We seem to have a contingent of cyclists in Boise (see the Pacific Northwest regional forum).

What do I ride? Mixtes! I love mixtes. Old steel bikes, and mixtes. Road and mountain mostly.

Welcome to BF!

East Hill

Welcome to BF, GW!

Just had to shout out as I graduated from BHS about a gazillion years ago. Been a long time since I've been back to town. Hope it's still a cool spot.

Thanks.
It's still really cool, just a little bigger.
We have been rated as #1 per-capita a couple years in a row for Mountain Biking as well.

I was in Boise a couple of decades ago and remember enjoying some of the hot springs in the mountains to the north. Envy you.
