Hi from Hong Kong

Hey guys...

Been browsing the forums for quite a while but haven't posted much...I'm a 17 year old road biker living in Hong Kong; I've been making the transition from a recreational cyclist to a racer over the past couple of months, and the site's been great for info. I'm going to be heading to Northwestern University near Chicago to start my undergrad in September, anyone on the forums from thereabouts?

See ya,

ani

Wow, very impressive.
MOst impressive is how you could read and not post for such a long time.
And also that you are from Honk Kong, which means you could share your valuable information and lighten up some of ours limited minds.

Good luck with studying!

I live about a block from Northwestern in the John Hancock.

Send me a PM when you get to Chicago and we can hook up. That should be fun.

Hello in Hong Kong. I went there myself within the first hundred days of the conversion. Had a blast, got my certificate from the Chinese, and slept the entire way home. Cycling in Hong Kong was good stuff- those hills are a killer. Tried to do the hill going up to that big ole buddha on the hill, but I just got plain scared... maybe next trip.

Welcome to the forums!

Whoops, saw you're an undergrad, not a grad. So you'll be up in Evanston.

Even better- the roads there once you get beyond Evanston are like ice cream- soooooooooooo smooth..... you can ride all the way to Wisconsin.

Still drop me an email. We can hook up, I can show you around town and get you oriented and on your way!
