Don't confuse me with the other Dean Knuth

Hello, my name is Dean Knuth from Tucson, AZ. I've been 'lurking' for a while and love the site. I've got a fixed gear, Raleigh Rush Hour with a Brooks saddle and bar tape. I'm getting ready to make the jump to a road bike (looking for a steel lemond) and I figured this would be a good place to get some info.

Welcome to BikeForums. You'll love it here! What did the other Dean Knuth do to make him famous/infamous? Just curious.

He's the "primary inventor of the USGA Course Rating and Slope System", (or the Handicap system), in professional golf. He stole the much wanted www.deanknuth.com out from under me! He's a really nice guy, I accidently emailed him once. Kinda weird, especially for a somewhat rare last name of Knuth.

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.

Hello Dean--no need to point out the sights then if you are a longtime lurker, but don't forget to stop in and say hi to your fellow locals in the regional forum.

Welcome to BF!

Hey, Dean! I think you may have dropped me on Pima a couple months ago!
