Introduction
Hello,
I have been riding on and off since the early 80s, but not consistently until recently. I started riding more seriously in the past two years. I’ve been riding with the local bike club and really enjoy it. I’ve also done a few cyclocross races and think they are a blast. I’ve been learning quite a bit about riding and bicycles and have much more to learn.
I have a Giant OCR C2 which is stock except for a zero offset seat post. I built up a Redline Conquest Pro from a frame I got used on E-bay for cyclocross, but I also like it as a road bike. I enjoy both bikes.
I’m in the over 50 crowd. I would like to get into more distant riding and am looking into Brevets and maybe rode racing if I can find anything suitable for beginners like me. I live in central Kentucky. This is a beautiful area for road riding. There are rolling hills and many scenic areas. I enjoy riding with our local bike club.
Take care,
David
