Newb to forums, biking
Hey everyone, I've been lurking around for a few days and thought I'd just say what's up... I'm in the market now for my first road bike and came here as an information resource. I live in Palo Alto (near Stanford) so the biking around here should be great. I'm hoping to get into some triathlons pretty quick here but opted out of a tri-bike because I've been advised to get used to a standard road bike first. Anyway, looking forward to chattin' it up and learning more about bikes!

Hi Weston, stop in and visit the Northern California regional forum. You have probably already found it, but it doesn't hurt to say hi over there too! You could meet some of the people you'll be racing against in the future
