HI I'm from Oshawa E. of Toronto.
Have been following this group since last year.
I am an electronic technologist by profession (Retired)
Got my E-bike in June of 2007. It is my main piece of transportation with 3700km so far.
I am the technical adviser for the Durham E-Bike Association which was formed in August of last year.

E-Bikes being legal in Ontario Can. only since Oct. 2006. It is our associations mission to promote e-bikes to the community, train riders and work with local community groups and municipalities to reinforce our presence and viability
