That sounds like fun! I can't imagine doing tri's as swimming sounds too scary for me.

Hello The Spaniard, what kind of bike did you get for the triathlons?

i dont have a tri specific bike, i will be doin my first couple of triathlons on a road bike, a lemond to be exact. my friend is lending it to me so i can ride with him and i can do triathlons. I want to eventually get a argon 18 mercury for myself but that wont be for awhile seeing as i have other expenses i need to pay for but hopefully by the end of the year i can have enough saved up to get my own ride. also swimming and running are what i do usually, swim twice a week and run aobut the same each week. the bike is wher eim least experienced but i hope to get accustomed to the saddle as fast as possible sinc ei plan to do teh carlsbad triathlon, which is a very short distance ig uess that would be a sprint triathlone but i dont know. I also plan to do a tour de cure with some friends.

The Lemond will certainly do the job, even if it isn't tri-specific. Good luck with the triathlon, and the TdC as well!
