Love to Tour - Randonne

Hi..My name is Jim and I just purchased a Randonee and am looking forward to doing some touring. I am looking at panniers. I currently use a Bob Ibex, but plan to put some Ortlieb Bike Packer Plus and head out to the Texas Hill Country. Anyone have any experience with a Novara Randonee(sp)?

Hello Jim, check in with the Touring forum folks--I know that at least one person must have a bit of experience with the Randonee .

Where are you in Texas?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Jim, welcome to BikeForums. Indeed, where abouts in Texas are you? I know there are a good number of long distance cyclists here in the Dallas area. I can look up their information if you are interested.

Safety in Numbers!! Yes, but even better doing a meet and greet with some of those mysterious internet peeps! I've met some great friends over the years on bicycle forums! Gotta say my bestest gurly friend I met on (not here) a bike forum - she lives in Toronto and we have laughed, cried and visited each other for the last 5 or so years. And, GOSH - we all bicycle too! Welcome to Bike Forums!
