New guy from 50th state
Aloha all - just got back into cycling about 4 months ago after 20 year hiatus because my son was working on his Cycling merit badge for Boy Scouts (which he successfully completed). Found out how much I missed riding. Used to ride BMX, steel frame road bikes and also rode mountain bikes back in the day. My current ride is a Giant OCR 3 with the stock components. Just replaced the toe clips with Speedplay X-2s - love em. The Giant is a good value. Currently trying to decide whether to upgrade components on the Giant (upgrade to Shimano Ultegra group, etc.) or simply getting another bike (e.g., Cannondale Six13 3).
