How many miles have you got on the bike now? And how did you decide to go with the Trek 7100?

i've put a total of 0 miles on the bike so far..lol i got the 7100 because i wanted a bike made for casual use around the neighborhood with my kids or bike paths. i used to own a cannondale mountain bike but i don't see myself doing that anymore. i read ALOT of great reviews on the bike.
