Folder rider

Just joined up 'cus I had to respond to someone's post who said they had to come to London in a 4x4 for a folding bike ride because they came from Oxford - The train must surely be a better option!
Got directed to the forum in the first place from a link from the Folding Society pages (www.foldsoc.co.uk).

I have 3 bikes - an old hybrid I bought from Halfords a few years ago - very basic but still going strong; a Dahon Vitesse D5 folder that I use for train-assisted commuting (amongst other things) and a Pacific Reach (Road version), which I intend to use to cut the train out of my 22-mile each way commute - at least one or two days-a-week. I've done the trip on my Dahon a couple of times but wanted something a bit more suited to the longer ride. So far I love the Reach.

Hello Karl--post some photos of your folders . It's good to hear that the Halford's bike is still going. It does seem rather silly to travel to London from Oxford in a 4 x 4 when the train works just fine!

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions !

Nice! The last time my husband and I went to Bath, we came in at that station. It would have been nice to have had folders that day .
