Hello,my name is Mike and I'm new here.I live in the western part of the state of Maryland.I just decided to seriously get back into biking this year after I realized just how much I missed it from my childhood.I had a cheapo Mongoose from Wal-Mart for a few years,but it had problems,so I decided to get a new Trek 7200 this year.So far I like it,but I still need to get it adjusted to me properly.At 42 years of age,being out on the bike brings back good memories of years gone by.I live close to the C&O Canal,so I do a lot of riding there,as well as The Great Allegany Passage,a newly completed rail trail that connects with the canal to make a 300 plus mile trail.I hope to someday ride the whole thing,but I'll need a bit more training before trying that.I look forward to reading the articles here and maybe getting some tips and insight from other members.When I'm not able to ride,I work as a landscaper and do home improvements.I also enjoy hiking,camping,as well as attending local fairs and festivals and car shows.
