Greetings from Australia
Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie to bike forums, so any advice on where to go and what to look for would be appreciated!
I'm 44 years old living just outside of Bendigo in Victoria, Australia. I've been cycling on my road bike for just over 4 years and love it more all the time. Living in this location provides great variety in the sorts of rides - flat or hilly on quiet country roads and beautiful views. I've come to prefer long-distance / endurance cycling rather than racing, and regularly do 100km rides, along with a few longer events each year such as t he 210km "Around the bay" ride in Melbourne. A couple of months ago, a group of 18 riders did a ride from Robe in South Australia back to Bendigo, which was a ride of 630km in 6 days. It was a great trip!
I look forward to learning lots more from your collective wisdom!
Downunder rider.

Thanks for the welcome East Hill. Not only am I a newbie to bike forums, I'm a newbie to all of these social networking sites, so this will be a case of trial and error. I'm riding a Colnago Arte which I bought last September and I love it!
