To_Tall from Holland :)
Hi there,
I'am Eddy from the Netherlands. Just new in cycling, my passion was always Football (for the US lads here its Soccer
) I found this forum trough a technical computer forum in the netherlands.. called Tweakers.net so Hello all to all the Tweakers here
My nick is the same as on T.net cheers to them
Played high, played in the A section against Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV and other famous dutch clubs. I played with Excelsior Rotterdam..
anyway. Its a bike forum
I Stoped few years ago with football because my enkels did not wanted to play anymore darn... So I needed somthing els.. I liked tennis. but also my enkels.. So first step was fitnish. I was a lot in the strengt area.. Traning my legs and enkels ofcourse..
Later on almost 2 years ago. I started in house with kind of spinning. (less mills - RPM) 1 hour of draining your energy. Still I love it. and having now my own class
Some of the instructeurs are pushing me to buy meself a bike. So about 6 months ago I bougt one. A batavus Chalange. I had a great deal from my work. A nice buget for a first bike. Its not the most expensive and luxery bike but for a rooky its a fix.
So I still giving the RPM class and now also cycling outdoor. just starting and knowing now. its not so easy.. if your 30 milles out you can not step of and walk back.. you go further and further..
Hope fully i will antisipate some races as well in holland. Also trough my work I get an invatation.. we will see still a year away. need some trainging also
we will see..
cheers

Hello To_Tall, cycling is definitely easier on the ankles than football or tennis
