Hellooooo from Minneapolis!
Hi Folks....
Thought I would do the ol intro thing. Gotta say I love the site, its become my new favorite. I'm in minneapolis, love to be on any kind of bike. As of late I have lost all of my riding partners. They have either moved or moved on. I must admit that sometimes riding on your own is a drag. Its nice sometimes but the forced isolation is a bummer. One of the reasons I started lurking around here is the chance to hook up with some other riders. I live right off west river road and see groups of riders pass by all the time. I would really like to hook up with some groups that like to be on the wheel as much as I do. I like long rides on the road, mountain bike rides or just riding to the coffee shop or "pub", dont matter as long as there is a bike involved. I'm gitt'n on in years and though not a "hammerhead" can keep up. I have also managed to put on a few pounds the last few years due to a 6 day 70 hour a week job that was too far to 'mute to on a regular basis. The job is gone now but the poundage remains.... Just last week I was resting by Lake Calhoun when 4 well intentioned Green Peacers pounced on me and tried to roll me back into the water. Nothin more embarassing than trying to wrestle free from a group while they keep yellin "Dont block the blowhole!!" (That'l ruin your chance of a date real good)
So anyways... Hi!... btw... how a guy join the Ti owners club?
