Hola from Austin
Hmmmm and introduction. Ok, here goes:
Just got back into cycling about a month ago after a long, long lay off. Honestly, I forgot how much fun riding a bike can be. I was running around town for exercise but the wear and tear on my knees was killing me. Biking is sooooo much better. Currently, I am riding the old Trek 830 from when I was in highschool. However, I have been test riding a couple different road frames and should be pulling the trigger on one in the next couple of weeks. Currently leaning toward the Sequoia by Specialized because my ultimate goal is to work up to centuries and other long charity rides (MS 150 and Livestrong). I think my back will thank me. Heck my ride last Sunday was a 3.5 hour random ride through Austin, including a couple nice climbs in the hills. I try and do two to three one hour long rides during the week and then a longer ride on one of the weekend days.
I am looking forward to participating in the forum, hopefully I will have something to add one of these days.
Cheers,
Acuna

Hello Acuna, don't forget to check out the regional forums. There's one just for Texas! You should be able to find lots of BF members in and around Austin, too.
