Mr. Versatile

Hi everybody. I'm Mr. V from N. Central Ohio. I've been riding for about 45 years. I was/am a roadie and raced quite a bit, when I was younger, thinner, and had hair. It took a while, but I made it as far as Cat2. I also raced in Vets & Masters. Retired from racing for quite awhile, I still like spirited riding, but I'm at the point now where I can only hang with the "kids" for a few miles. I'm a member of a club made up of about 200 riders. I commute to work daily, even during the winter. The commute is 18 miles one way, so even at my (ahem) advanced age I'm still getting in 5 - 7000 per year. I have several bikes, one of which is a dedicated commuter. I've never owned, ridden, or even sat on a mountain bike.

Hi East - no pics right now, but I'll see what I can do in the near future. My bikes include a Panasonic 6 spd Sport 100 commuter, a Trek 1200 (which I'm not crazy about) and an all Campy DeRosa Nuovo Classico, which is the love of my life. I'll get the dig. camera warmed up & post pics soon.
