First Time Rider (Bakersfield, CA)
Hi everyone,
I'm extremely new to the world of mountain biking, having purchased my first mountain bike yesterday (Specialized Hardrock Sport). So far I've rode nearly 20 miles and enjoyed every second of it. My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner.

Bikes: Nishiki Nut! International, Pro, Olympic 12, Sport mixte, and others too numerous to mention.
Hello VanillaJunior, you started off with a good sturdy machine which should last you years. Just don't die from the heat--I've been to Bakersfield in August, and it was a very hot experience
