Bikes: Specialized Sirrus Comp, Trek 7300

Greetings from Florida

Hello fellow cyclist,
Just found this forum and spent most of the night reading different posts. I'm glad I found it. Look forward to learning a lot of info on biking.
I have really been on the photography forums most of my time, but I love cycling. I have lived in Jacksonville my whole life and have been in banking for 25 years. As you can see--Gator-Nole--I'm a Florida graduate and wife is Florida State. Gatorsssssssssss.
I ride a Specialized Sirrus Comp for long distance and a Trek 7300 for tooling around with Nole. We just finished the MS 150, a 150 mile round trip from St. Augustine to Daytona. Rode up the coastal highway of A1A--beautiful ride---2,000 bikers. The weather here is still hot as hell but getting cooler--it was 72 this evening--25 knot winds--very nice 20 mile ride.
Look forward to communicating with you guys.

Hi GatorNole, one of our moderators is from Jacksonville, but I've never asked him his 'orientation' ...

Welcome to BikeForums, and don't hesitate to send me a PM if you have any questions .

Welcome GatorNole! I've only been cycling for a few months and looking to upgrade my hybrid for a road bike. I looked at the MS 150 and it looks like a really cool ride. Maybe next year I'll be ready. I'm down in Sebring but my grandkids are in Jacksonville and I've been looking at places to ride up there. My family lives out near where I 10 and 295 cross. so we may see you sooner or later.
PS: I'll be sitting on the Bulldog side of the Georgia/Florida game.
