Hello from Chicago

Hey,

I just recently got back into biking after a three year hiatus. Right now I'm riding my brothers Cannondale road bike (R800 I think? I don't really know) and working on getting an old Schwinn paramount back into riding condition. I'm really looking forward to the knowledge this forum can provide and hopefully contributing to the community.

A Paramount? Did you say Paramount? Let's see some photos of the Paramount in Classic & Vintage please .

I have a 1974 Paramount....

Welsome to the Forums also. Are you going to restore it, upgrade or convert to FG/SS?

Cool. Welcome. Lots of clubs in the area for roadies here. Google Turin's bike shop website for a listing.

I'm just going to restore it, honestly there isn't that much to do as it's been kept indoors it's entire life. The only real problem I can see is the cassette wobbles A LOT. I'm going to take it apart next weekend to see if I can figure it out. Definitely won't be converting to fixed gear.

Hello,
I purchased a Miele bicycle about ten years ago. Only used it about 10 times.
I now want to sell it because its only been collecting dust and I'm sure someone would have
good use out of it. Wondering if someone could help me figure out on how much I should ask for. Its in great condition with original parts and everything.
I could send a picture if required.
Its serial number is CS615663 I think its a three or it could be a 5.
thank you, looking forward to any help that I could get on this baby.
O.
