By T.O. do you mean Toronto. If so what part of town. Why dont you show it on your profile. I lived in Toronto near Finch and Islington for 15 yrs, before I came to Montreal. A road ride I used to do was up Weston rd to Holland Marsh across to Hwy 27 and back down.

Hey AndrewP, moved to the Beaches in the fall from Scarborough. I used to ride for D'Ornellas Bike Shop. How's Mon-real for biking? The downtown of Toronto is so much better than the suburbs - road or paths (paved and not). The burbs have grown way too large, takes an hour to get out of heavy traffic

Montreal is great for biking - since it is on an island urban sprawl is limited. There are enough cyclists on the streets that motorists are prepared for them. The state of repair of the streets is worse than Toronto. The Toronto Beaches area is great for bike paths - you have the choice of either up the Don valley or along the lakeshore.
