Greetings from North Georgia
I've returned to cycling over the past year. My motivation to train is my son. In Jan '07 we found that he has Leukemia.
In 2008 I've raised money through CURE Search Athletics, in 2009 I will be raising funds through CURE Childhood Cancer. Both are great organizations and do wonderful things for children.
However CURE Childhood Cancer hits a little closer to home. They work directly in support of the Physicians, Scientist, Children and Familes of Children's Hospital of Atlanta where our son receives his care.
I enjoy long distance riding and plan to ride in my first 1200 Km Brevet next summer. I cruise around North Georgia on a Surly Cross Check. It is heavier than a lot of other rides out there, but it takes a beating and keeps on rolling.
I plan to post a link on the Charity section of this site. Any and all contributions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray

I live in Dahlonega, GA. Lots of hills and a great place to train. I'll be posting a picture of Eli and I on our bikes on our fundraising site.
