In DC w/ an old Raleigh
Yeah, so i just signed up and look there's this handy intro foruM!
To those w/ vintage knowledge: I just bought an old Raleigh Grand Prix and am trying to bring it back to "awesome" condition. Right now it's in "bobo single-speed" condition since the shifters broke before I'd walked it to the front of the thrift store. Otherwise, though, it rocks.

Damn posted early...
so yeah, I'm just outside DC in Prince George's County, Maryland and I ride the bobo singlespeed to work almost everyday. I also play in a hellacious rock n roll band for anyone who's into that sort of thing.
See y'all in the forums.

Welcome to the forums mrmOto,
Hope you enjoy joining in with the banter - generally this is a really great bunch of knowledgeable people here.
Good luck with the bike project - it's always good to here about someone looking after a Raleigh. Great bikes made (mostly) in my home town of Nottingham.
Cheers,
Ed
