Hello everyone,
I'm pretty new to riding, been commuting back and forth to work the last couple of months and recently discovered how much fun mountain biking is. I have been renting a specialized hardrock the past few weekends and have been having a blast! I'm fortunate enough to have some pretty serious riders as friends here so they have been showing me the ropes.
I'm currently in southern Spain (in the military). The terrain here is rocky and in parts pretty sandy. I'll be leaving Spain in April though and on to my next home (don't know where that is yet but hopefully Germany).
I'm in the market now for a good entry/intermediate level mountain bike and hope I can pick some of your brains for help. I've made a post on the mountain biking section with some bikes I'm considering. Well I hope to expand my biking knowledge and have even more fun!

WOW!!! ROTA!! I was stationed there in 1990-1993 at the hospital. Can you send me some anchovy stuffed olives???

Bikes: Specialized Roubaix,Specialized Diverge,Specialized Ruby,Juliana MTB
Road biked there but not mountain. I'm retired and heading to Sigonella at end of May for some road biking with Navy and Sicilian friends. Space A is great! I Love Rota!
