My daily commuter is a sentinal sophomore,set up as a fixt gear.I would lik to hear from other fixt gear commuters.My round trip to work and back is 20 miles,mostly flat,and the fixt gear works goood for me.I'm 43 years old and have been bike commuting for a year and a half.

A lot of us in the fixed gear/single speed forum use our fixed gears for commuting. I use mine for commuting, training and fun rides around the city. My trips range from 3 miles to work to 50 miles for a fun ride
