Hi.. My name is MIke. My friend who is obssesed with Roadbiking has convinced me to get involved. He is going to let me use his 96 Giant Kronos for now. I figure I will ride for a few months and if i take to it then invest in better equipment. I am living on a low budget now.

I have posted in another form asking if that is a good bike to start with.

I am really excited to get started.. I am amazed at how vas the Biking world is in general and think I need to get a PH.D to understand all the technical data and gadgets.

I welcome any advice and need the encouragement.
