Help!!

My nephew had bought and been riding a Gary Fisher Bigg'ns Bitter bike this year. They bought it new this spring in mid March and he has had to have it repaired 4 times now. He is 14 years old about 5feet 7 inches and about 150 pounds (I am guessing at this). He rides quite aggressively. The repairs were on the brake cable on the hydraulic disc brakes (2 times), he broke the chain and now has a bent front rim. He wants to be able to keep up riding with his friends but he also likes to do some stunting. He lives in the city (in Saskatchewan Canada). Was this the right bike for him? Is there any suggestions to other bikes that may keep up to the way this kid rides??

This question should be asked on the Mountain Bike section. Those repairs seem to relate to how the bike was treated. Brake lines and chains are much the same on any type of bike. Bent rim is more likely due to making a bad landing, he should build up his skill on small jumps before he does the big ones and land rear wheel first.
