Hi all! I'm almost a complete newbie to cycling and I just inherited an older (+10 yrs.) road bike. No name brand frame (i think), Shimano SIS derailer, don't know what else. I'm just looking to get into biking as recreation and possibly train for some longer trips. I'll be asking a lot of questions on the way to repairing/upgrading the bike so bear with me

So far, just reading, the forum seems very friendly and knowledgable. I look forward to meeting and talking with all of you!
