Hey from NY
Hey everyone! I'm Evan from NY (NYC/Westchester area). I'm getting into fixies/single speeds lately and have a project lined up for me when I get home. I'm currently finishing up my final semester of undergrad. architecture abroad in denmark. I've got a 1978 Ross Europa mens 10 speed waiting for me back at home which i will totally strip/clean/paint and turn into a fixie this summer. My main romping grounds for the bike will be commuting through manhattan, so if anyone can recommend some chainring/cog sizes that would suit the city that would be really helpful. I was thinking a 46t chainring and a flip flop hub with a 15t cog and a 16t freewheel. pictures to come once i start working.
